Get Involved

As Broadnook Community Trust’s operations expand to manage the land and buildings, further community and stakeholder representatives will be invited to join a new Broadnook Community Forum. The Community Forum will be made up of residents, and other local stakeholders to support and advise the work of the Trust. In this way, residents can be confident there is a good cross section of voices being heard to inform decision making within the village. More information will be shared in the coming months about how to join Broadnook Community Forum.

Have you got a keen interest in ensuring Broadnook is a great place to live with a thriving community?

The Broadnook Community is beginning to grow, and there are new homes, buildings, parks, allotments, and other parts of the infrastructure that will be completed soon, so it’s an exciting time to get involved in laying the foundations of the Trust that will be responsible for looking after the public places and spaces for years to come.

In the near future we will be inviting residents in Broadnook to become members of the Trust’s board of trustees, and to become part of a group of volunteers who collectively represent different aspects of Broadnook’s community.

If you are interested in finding out more about being a member of the Board or a resident representative, or perhaps, you’re someone with a particular experience in conservation, the charity/voluntary sector, or have a specialist skill set e.g. finance, please do drop us an email – [email protected]
